[dillys smart for two]

Been pulling my hair out and being nickled and dimed by this Dumb car. Have replaced all sensors, maf sensor, throttle body and sensor, all plugs and wires, air filter, oil filter etc. The latest mechanic says that it is not reading the front oxygen sensor and thinks the ecm is bad. Any way this can be checked without going to the dealership to get bent over. Can these be sent out for repair or anything else that somebody has figured out. When I also reset I can disconnect the back o2 sensor and it throws a code right away, when the front is unplugged it does not throw a code and it should.

I don't think this code comes up because of the O2 sensor... Troubleshooting looks complicated!

This fault code is stored in the engine control module when the ECM is no longer capable of controlling the air fuel ratio. ... This is achieved by trimming the fuel mixture to the required amount to cater for slight anomalies during normal operating conditions

Oxygen sensor is good ecm just doesnt read it.
