Heck if I know. Just wondering if anyone has something like this and if it does what they say. I think the website says 20 hp stage 1, 40 hp stage 2 and 60 hp gains stage 3 not to mention mpg gains. One of them things that sounds too good to be true.

Plus a gain of 60 hp is most definitely not within the specs of either the 451 or 453 motor. Bump up the hp that much in either motor and it probably wouldn’t take much time to self-destruct. If I understand correctly, the .9 L Renault motor in the 453 will support up to a 30 hp increase without internal mods.

..,most if not all performance chips out there work by altering the OAT (outside air temp) input to the computer….making it read colder adds more fuel for a quick warm up …a little gain and a big waste of fuel…
