Hi guys. New to me 2018 ED did not come with the factory phone holder. I can’t seem to find one. Any ideas? Seems discontinued. Did find one in England on eBay, but that is a pain for the seller to ship to me here. I would like it because of the usb thing and the fact that it is horizontal

Should be available from a smart dealer but price will be high. I’ve seen them on eBay from time-to-time for less than $100 and even on this forum. I believe there is a new version that is larger than the first version.

^^ thanks! I actually tried ordering from them and they cancelled the order. Not sure why it is still on their site. I think it was cancelled because the part has been discontinued.

I found a used one on eBay with different search terms. Just bought that one.

Seems like the non oem plastic Chinese ones are garbage.....

Do love the smart though. Too much fun!

So, I got an OEM one and it doesn't fit my phone. Got an aftermarket one that works....but the smart is sprung so high that the phone vibrates, which is irritating. So I am going the aliexpress tablet head unit route. We shall see if that pans out or not. Still love the smart! Favorite car ever. Too bad it didn't catch on and they left the US market. I hope my battery is still in good order when the lease expires so I can buy it for way less than the residual. And, hopefully the parts network remains in somewhat decent order...

Weather Tech makes a cell phone holder,that fits several cup holder sizes.May be the solution??................

Take out the plug in the middle of the radio... ....looks like a TV channel knob. MB sells a holder that plugs into the USB port behind it.
