Hi there!

We've had a 2013 MHD fortwo for a couple of years now and are trying to upgrade the radio from a Sony aftermarket head unit to the Pioneer SPH-DA130DAB due to the Apple CarPlay etc 馃槃

However, Halfords (UK car parts chain) fitted it today for us and when we got in the car afterwards, it simply didn't do anything. We're taking it back tomorrow to get them to take a look again but I noticed that the installation manual (found on the Pioneer site here) states the below:

65393

I believe the No ACC position is the kind of ignition switch that the car has as it only has off/on/start.

Does anyone know the following:
  • Does the car have an ACC position?
  • Is it possible to bypass this requirement if Halfords can't sort it tomorrow?
Thanks very much!

The radio in smarts gets power always so there shouldn't be a need for acc position
Interesting! Thanks for that.
Halfords weren't able to fix it - the fitter couldn't follow the wires that the last person had set up.
Will now have to take a look myself...what a shame 馃槃
