I was driving to work and made a left turn and the gas petal quit working. stopped the car. shut off and restart all is good with peddle function until I put it in gear. it makes a half rev then shuts down again, peddle quits working. on restart car starts and revs fine until put into gear. then peddle stops working :shrug: What could this be my guess is the throttle position sensor is working since it works before putting in gear.

Clutch Position Sensor ? No codes /check engine light ether. looking for any help or Ideas

You would need to scan the whole car. A fault with the clutch or trans, for example, would not necessarily turn on the Check Engine light. It sounds like it is going into a fail-safe mode.

yes it was. it turned out to be the MDC cruise control. something must have burned out. After 100k miles my car is slowly returning to stock as some of the aftermarket items are no longer working.
