The Brabus was a 2009 limited edition. The wheels on the Lightshine look a lot like the Brabus wheels, but are 15" front and rear and the lip of the rim is different with a small bead around the edge.

Not sure the link above will help much as it no longer includes the Brabus since only the 2009 model was sold in the US. Basically a Pure is just that. No options. The real pure has no radio, no a/c, manual windows and mirrors, and a plain wheel with hub/wheel caps. smart started to add more things to the pure, mainly a/c and you can get some of the special editions, like the "yellow chrome" that have radios and a/c. By definition, when a smart car has a/c, radio, slotted wheels and power windows/mirrors then that car is a Passion. The Brabus was a model that was created when smart sent 1500 Passions to the Brabus company in Germany for tuning. Brabus is a company that tunes cars by altering suspensions and basically making the car handle better. Among the changes for the Brabus where wider tires, dual exhaust and a stiffer suspension. The skirts and moldings are a little different. If you are a casual looker at smarts you will not notice the differences. smart also added the leather interior with the Brabus. What you will not find in the smart models are differences in the car itself. smart makes one frame, one transmission, one wiring harness etc. When you pull the caps off the front on all smarts the plug for the fog lamps is there. Also true with the radio wires behind the panel. In other words, smart makes one car. The difference comes in with the comfort options as oppposed to horse power and different transmissions found in most US made cars that come in different models. Let the fun begin
