Hello fellow smartcar owners,

I (somewhat) recently purchased a used 2016 smart car, and I noticed something about the car.
Below each of the seats, there is a bunch of wiring. I am assuming that this is for the heated seats, but I am surprised how loose the wires are (especially on the passengers seat side where the entire thing is basically hanging to the floor).

Is there some sort of plastic covering that was removed from the car, or should these wires just be bolted to the seat better? What does the area under the seat look like for a normal smart car? I figure I should have some idea of what this should be before deciding whether I need it fixed.
