Hi everyone,
I own a 2003 Fortwo 450 , it overheated and i have replaced the head gasket.
Now testing the car and found that the temperature gauge goes up to 4 blobs, i found that the radiator fan does not switch on, i was told that it was the heat or temperature sensor.
Can anyone tell me where the sensor is situated and how to replace.
Thank you for your help

I would guess that if your display is showing four blobs, your temperature sensor is working, but your fan relay or fan itself is bad. If the a.c. is turned on, does the fan come on? On my 451, the fan is forced on when the a.c. is turned on regardless of engine temp in order to force air thru the condenser in front of the radiator. This would indicate a bad relay if the fan comes on with a.c. on. If not, the fan might be bad. If the fan can be operated directly from a car battery, then it is definitely a relay or signal from the SAM, bad wire, or connection.
