can the #9 radio handle rear speakers or does the whole radio have to be changed our

I don't believe the stock radio has an option for rear speakers as they weren't offered back then

i wonder (even tho you wouldn't have the stereo effect) if by hooking rear speakers the radio ampliphyer could handle the load

If you are going to go through the trouble, hook up an amp. Just my opinion?
