When I got my smartcard fortwo the am radio played quite well bringing stations. However of late the static has become terrible even in our local radio station they is less quality than usual. Is there something that can be done to improve the radios reception?

Hi Tom. I have a slightly different problem with my radio on my 2008 smart. It's an aftermarket Boss unit, and I have bad static for stations farther away (don't we all). The strange things is, if I have my high beam on, the static gets reduced significantly!
