Which of these two brands of windshield wipers are better for a Smart car?

The wipers they are suggesting at the dealership not the recognizable brand to me and they don't seem to perform very well

Based on the photo, you have a 453. There is some bad information out there on what blades fit (Amazon tries to sell me a 26" blade). I just ordered a set of Bosch 20-CA, as multiple references have said they will work. I have not received them yet, so can't give you a performance review.

If you're just looking for a brand recommendation, I'd go with Rain X Silicon. They're not cheap, but they're well worth the cost. I had my last set on for over two years. That may not seem like much, but that was sitting outside all the time in Florida. Florida weather eats wiper blades like they're nothing.

On my 451 I use Bosch ENVISION wipers.

I'm late, but for future reference: Bosch or Trico. Trico also has some direct factory fit with no funky adapters as well. Currently running those. Have had good experiences with both.
