Figured I'd post the Itinerary Abbe and I have worked out. It's still a work in progress. With seventy five folks, at some venues a group of twenty five works best. Anyway if anybody has any other ideas now's the time to voice them. Nothing is set in stone.

Itinerary

Monday June 13th
Terrace Room open 12 noon
Meet and Greet Terrace Room 5 – 9pm

Tuesday June 14th
Meet in Terrace Room 9am. Gather in Days of 76 parking area.
10am Parade up to Lead
Visit – Sanford Lab / Homestake Visitor Center (Open Cut)
Trolley tour seats around 30 @ $5 Per Person 1hr.
Visit Homestake Mine Museum Guided Tour, group of 25 @ $5 Per Person 1hr
Visit Homestake Opera House Guided Tour, group of 25 @ $5 Per Person 1hr
Lunch at the Stamp Mill Inn (Closing the Inn from 1 to 3 for us)
After Lunch head back into Deadwood. Park back at hotel, take trolley around town.
Attractions: Days of 76 Museum, Adams Museum, Adams House, Mt Moriah, Broken Boot Gold Mine, Old Style Saloon #10, 53 Casinos, and plenty of spots to eat, Deadwood Social Club (above Old Style Saloon), Legends Steak House (Franklin Hotel), Mustang Sally’s etc…

Wednesday 15th

Meet Terrace Room 9am, Gather in Days of 76 parking area.
10am Caravan to southern hills. Ride the Needles Hwy. Custer State Park Wild Life Loop, Iron Mountain Road, Buffet Lunch at the State Game Lodge @ $13.75 (again going to have to split into two groups for lunch 1pm & 1:45pm). Lighting Ceremony 730pm Mt. Rushmore, entrance fee $10.00

Thursday 16th
Meet Terrace room 9am, Gather in the Days of 76 parking area
10am Caravan to Devils Tower Entrance fee $10.00
Lunch at Devils Tower View or Trading Post
Return to Deadwood thru Spearfish Canyon. (Time and Weather permitting)
730pm Closing Dinner Terrace Room

Yea a couple, one is up in Lead with the Yates Shaft in Background, Devils Tower has a spot also. I'm sure there are others.

I am so excited for everyone to see the Southern Hills including Custer State Park and Mt Rushmore. We moved from Nebraska 4 years ago. We used to vacation up here and discover the state park. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
