Hi! I’m new here. Can someone please help me? I had my brakes replaced at Mercedes Benz of Manhattan and right after I heard a rattle noise coming from the radio dashboard area when I press and release the brakes. They have inspected the car over and over and can’t figure out what’s causing it even though is safe to drive. Cant figure out how to post a video here. 2017 Smart.

Provide a sound clip. Brake replacement and sudden appearing noise would have nothing in common. Unless it’s the power brake booster causes that noise.
My car brake pedal used to make a squeaking noise when you apply the brakes.

That sounds like the linkage to the power brake booster making those noises that’s really strange you need to take it back to them and fix it
Mercedes Benz replied: Yes absolutely. They literally checked every brake component. The even adjusted the dashboard. There is no easy way to say this but they still do not know where it is coming from.
