When I turn the headlights on the rear driver side does not light up. Turn signal and brakes works using the same bulb. Swapped both panels from the passenger side, vise versa, works and the driver side still out. Tried new bulbs, same problem.

Not sure? Is the wiring harness, a specific wire that connects to the socket panel bad? Or is there something odd with a module or even if there is a separate fuse for each side which doesn't make sense.

Thanks!

What kind of car are you working on? Studebaker? Borgward? Zul? Humber Super Snipe?

If it is a smart the year and model would be relevant, I think. If it is a USA model 451 the left tail lamp is powered directly by the SAM on a BN/GY wire through fuse F7. The left front standing lamp (parking lamp) is powered by the same fuse, so see if that works.
