I have almost 130K on my 08 and I'm thinking it's about time for an overhaul. It's finally beginning to use oil and has symptoms of worn valve guides (occsional longer-than-usual starting times). In looking around on the internet, I see rings made by several manufacturers at widly varying prices. One that really stood out from the rest, price-wise was DNJ with a complete kit of rings, pistons and bearings for less than $30. Hard to believe that price when some others want $130 for just a set of rings. Does anybody know anything about this outfit and their parts? I'm pretty much a believer in "you get what you pay for", but sometimes there are exceptions. Comments?

Can’t imagine that $30.00 set could be any good. I’d personally would put the best parts you can buy. Which is probably the $130.00 one.

Check out Rock Auto for rebuild engine parts..
