Hi all. I think my last post was a big confusing. I have a 2016 smart car 453 that has a blown drivers airbag, I have a new one and I know how to reset new one but I need to know how to release the damaged one from the steering wheel.
I have seen of the older units being removed but I have not seen anything about the 453 round bag releasing. I you can help I would be greatly appreciative

Disconnect the car battery first. You don’t reset any thing. I personally would have a professional install your airbag.
