I am wondering if and where I can find the “rubber” weather strip separating the stationary window and the window that rolls up and down. My 2016 Smart has a slight gap on part of the weather stripping (both on the outside and the inside) of the “rubber/plastic) piece on the driver side window and it causes a wind noise when driving. I have tried looking everywhere and the things that commonly come up are the floor board door trims or the after market rain shields that can be installed above the window.

The driver's side rubber on our '16 Passion was defective and leaked. It was replaced under warranty by our Benz dealer.

It was that the entire gasket was made of some crappy stuff, a problem in lots of '16s. I'd call them up and make an appointment.

This is my experience with a 451 but it probably is similar or the same for 453. Took my brand new 451 to a tint shop and the idiot tech melted the rubber below the fixed window...on BOTH sides...

They paid me for the new part which was a single, self contained unit with all glass and rubber and felt attached. It simply bolts onto the door assembly which was easily reached by removing the plastic door panel.

Here's the thing, the mounting location allows for a fair amount of movement in order to precisely adjust it against the body rubber as well as the moveable window.

It might just be that you need to loosen the bolts and move the assembly a little bit closer to the other glass.
