I had the same thought. If he continues this I think he's crossing into vendor status.

He somewhat often sends me emails trying to get me to buy parts and memorabilia from him. He said he was going to post some parts, but I wasn't expecting this.

So far as I can tell, he's been picking up parts from yards/people that are scrapping out smarts. If he's trying to offload parts on the SCoA community for profit, then yes I'd say he should probably become a vendor.

He's been a member ten years. My first thought was that I was glad to see him offering some of his excess personal stuff to the group. I don't think he is in the parts business or at least probably won't be for long. If he bought a boatload of Smart car parts, kept what he wanted and is willing to offer the rest to the forum, then good for him, even if he makes a few bucks on the deal. We can all be winners.

Maybe a friendly PM to him to find out how long this is going to go on might be in order.

Looks like he doesn't have many more parts coming in. Looks like he's just collecting lots of parts for his cars and letting go the stuff he doesn't need.
