Yes the key is very fast and it did work after trying other methods basically going to slow for 15 minutes I’m back to 10,000 your post is the one that helped me accomplish that feat. Thank you so very much ?double tap the left button very fast and it works

Switch on ignition to position 1
Select maintenance indicator within 4 sec. by double tapping the left instrument cluster button
Switch off the ignition to position 0 (off) within 10 sec.
Push and hold in the left instrument cluster button and switch ignition on
Hold the left instrument cluster button for another 10 sec
In that time, the spanner symbol on the LCD will flash and eventually reset
Switch on the ignition to position 1
Select maintenance indicator within 4 sec by double tapping the left instrument cluster button, keep it held down on the second press.
Switch off the ignition to position 0 (off) within 10 sec
Switch ingnition on
Keep the left instrument cluster button held down for another 10 sec.
In that time, the spanner symbol on the LCD will flash and eventually reset.

Thank you. Going to try again. And also figured from further down that why mine says days and not mile is I never made it to miles for an oil change in a year.If the -26 days is still showing up and you never saw the 10,000 miles, then you weren't successful in your reset.
It's all in the timing of the steps. Here is what works for me:
1. Turn key to position 1
2. As soon as the cluster shows "Smart," double click the button quickly
to bring up the maintenance indicator.
3. Release the button and turn the key off.
4. Quickly press and hold the button and turn the key back to position
1. This is while the cluster still has the maintenance reminder on.
5. Hold the button in until it resets to 10K.
Sometimes it works on the first try. Sometimes it takes a few days of perseverance.
