Hello,

I recently got visited by some rats which chewed up some cable in my engine compartment. It cost $500 to fix it :-(
So I bought an Ultrasonic rodent repeller. My problem is that the battery is in the front but I need it installed near the engine.
Is there already a permanent 12v cable that I can use in the engine compartment? Or do I need to install one from front to back?

Thanks,

Klaus

I think they were attracted to your screen name.

Seriously, rats love eating wiring, and they don’t go away easily. If you haven’t already done so, do a Google search for this topic. Most of the highest-touted measures don’t seem to work reliably well, however. A friend of mine in AZ has been battling rats for several years, with damages well over $1,000.
