I looked at the CARFAX vehicle history reports on some cars sold on the site and realize that the mileage history is often strange. It may jump thousands of miles in a span of a few weeks when it's put up for sale by the dealer. I understand that dealer serviced cars probably report the info when serviced, but not always or independent shops or DIY, of course.

By the way, the matte paint looks good. I saw a few on the street too.

The 453 EQ has been somewhat more reliable than the 451 ED. These seem to be primarily OFF LEASE vehicles purchased at auction by SF M-B, a dealer who it appears no longer services smart vehicles?

While a couple are “interesting,” some show accidents and parts for a niche smart EV are made of “unobtainium.”

All are overpriced, you might have better luck buying a Lottery Ticket?

Surprised that San Francisco Mercedes Benz would services smart cars. My local MB dealer in Westminster, CO does not deal w/body repairs, and may not service your smart car much less order parts.

Smart EQ's prices seem rather out of place for discontinued vehicles at San Francisco MB dealer.

Had 2014 Smart ED that was leased from MB dealer in Westminster, CO. At end of lease returned to dealer.
Big issues were short range, lack of DC charging capabilities, no heated seats. Was leasing car and HV battery a separate leases... maybe a mistake for getting Colorado EV credits. Glad car is gone, replaced by used BMW I3, more capable vehicle.

Mercedes SF used to also be a smart dealership. I purchased my both my 451 and 453 EQ new from them and continue to get my 453 serviced there.
