Would it be possible to save a particular comment given by another member with valuable information-- into a 'memory bin' for the lack of a better term, This could be parked in our statistics and then can be brought up instantly for review even if it's months or years later.
This would eliminate searching and getting right to the crux of the matter.
If there is too much memory required, then perhaps 5 or 10 events could be stored with a warning. :)

As mentioned, the best way for you to do this would be to subscribe to the thread. Then there would always be a link to the thread in your User CP. You could also create a word doc and copy the URLs of threads you like to see .. which probably isn't very convenient. If you think a thread is very information and should be displayed so all members can easily find it you can report the thread and leave a comment asking the moderators to make it into a sticky.

Besides that I do not think there is an option in VBulletin to do what you suggested. If you do know of a VBulletin forum that has this function please let us know so we can see if we can find a similar plug in.
