The pump locked up so I replaced it and code came back after about 100 miles. A mechanic friend who doesn’t work on smart cars, says when the pump locked up wires probably over heated and blew the fuse. No fuse mentioned in manual. On another forum someone mentioned a fuse 37 behind plastic center console behind 12v lighter socket. I have not removed this cover yet, but when I glanced behind it, I saw no fuse. My question is are there fuses back there?

When my froze up it blow the big fuse down by the battery. Also if you just replaced it and it’s already out it means your combination is not shutting all the way and blowing exhaust in the motor while you drive you’ll know if you take out the air pump and it has water in it
