I think I read or search as much possible about a P2440 code and haven't really found the answer I am looking for … Part Number A0001406385 pump itself when newer would do the normal whining sound however, now it sounds like a turbine cranking up. I replace one of the electrical valves when I received the P2440 code and about a week or less afterwards the code popped back up. The Injector Pump is going bad by the sound of it.. the question is.. can the P2440 get posted from the pump itself and not the check valve? Thanks!!
