Getting set to tow a 2017 smart Prime fortwo, DCT behind a small 21 foot Class B Pleasureway motorhome. We will be following the directions precisely. We have heard about hoods blowing off when towing. Does anyone use a bungee or strap to secure the hood or service panel. What would be best to use? Thanks for any help.
On our 2017 Prime Cabrio I just latch the hood normally after disconnecting the battery. Never had a problem. I don't have to bungee the steering wheel either, the car follows perfectly.
