I'm Mary Lou in Seattle. We bought our 2015 gas Fortwo intending to tow it behind our small RV. The Seattle company that has previously created towing setups for us apparently had a less than satisfactory experience when they set up another customer for towing a Smart. I've reviewed numerous websites re towing Smart cars, but wonder if some of you have suggestions that we could pass on to the company. Thank you.

Just finished setting up my 2013 Smart for towing behind my Sprinter based motor home, used a Roadmaster base plate and tow bar and their Invisibrake braking system. Just got back from a 3,000 mile trip with no problems other than forgetting to fully release the emergency brake once(operator error). Recommend the use of TPMS system that allows you to monitor psi and temp in the motor home, rise in temp gave me an indication of the brake drag.

You can either do the following:
1) In the upper left above where is says: "Welcome, maagml" click on FORUMS, then mouse down to: Technical, then at the right select: 451

or
2) In the upper left just below where is says: "Welcome, maagml", click on Smart Car Forums, then scroll down to the Technical section, then to the 451 section.

Once you're at the 451 section, click on the smart Towing forum.
