“All European Show and Shine”
Lauritzen Gardens; Omaha
https://www.lauritzengardens.org/Visit/Events_and_Exhibits/All-European_Show_and_Shine/

Registration: 9:00-noon/$20.00; All participants will receive a T-shirt
(The show is from noon to 3:00. They ask that everyone stay until 3:00 p.m. so that all guests may enjoy the entire show!)

If you plan to exhibit your Smart car: the entrance gate has relocated to the gate by the children’s garden (so just go a little further east from the entrance we used to use—on 4th/Francis St, then turn right and go down to the check in area.

Afterwards, we’ll go to Piccolo Pete’s, located at 2202 S. 20th St. for a late lunch/early dinner. Check their menu: Piccolo Pete's Restaurant | Omaha, NE Family Restaurant

Please reply to this post, by Thurs., Sept. 4, if you plan to participate. We’ll want to try to have all the Smart cars together for the show, and I’ll need to give a count to the restaurant.

We circled the wagons yesterday at the All European Show and Shine. A lot of interest was shone in our cars by the number of people who stopped by. We encouraged those that wanted to, to sit in our cars. That sparked additional questions which we were all happy to answer.

Thanks to all who participated in the show and to those that join us afterward for dinner. It was a fun day.

It was a fun show with a great dinner afterwards. Thank you Marcy for another fun adventure.
People were surprised that we'd let them touch and sit in our cars. All the other European car owners didn't want you within touching distance of their cars.
