Hi All!

I thought I would start this thread in hopes that you would share your information on getting your smartie serviced or fixed in places other than SDMB.

I am in need of an oil change and tune up and really can't afford dealership prices - even though they will wash the car.

There also is a place in Esc. that will replace the windshield for about $300 - I need to get the info from hubby.

What is your mileage?

any mechanic can do the oil/filter/spark plugs/air cleaners within 30 min.
break inspects take a tad longer but easy enough.
car wash is about 15 min
im in n orange county, bring it by.

This seems timely. My wifes just took a shot from a pebble on the freeway that hit on the glue line. It grew a 1' long crack in a day.

and a pretty decent list of my past vehicles.

Safelite.com in SD quoted me $408 + tax + disposal fees for the windshield.

I'm already below my $500 deductible so it is all out of pocket. If anyone knows of a better deal, I would like to hear about it.
