I do not understand your instruction. Mine is electric, not gas. There are lots of answers for gas service resets.
You are referring to resetting the "XX Service in XX miles/km" right? The procedure is exactly the same in either car. The reset procedure was just discussed two threads below yours.

The best initial action is to left turn the lever on the right hand stalk thru the several screens. Each of these screens has much to offer the curious mind; but of course the service nag screen is the least of them and can be removed by the above suggestion.
