The Autoflash will remap the TCU, improving the shift points, and bypassing the torque limiter. So, the idea of the AutoFlash is to not only increase shift speed but to increase torque limitations throughout the gearing, except for 1st and reverse gears as we leave these at factory spec for safety, which in turn changes the speed of a shift.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

There are 7 steps for the installation of the AutoFlash.

1. Switch your ignition ON but do not start the engine. Ensure your dash lights are on.
2. Locate the OBDII port on your vehicle (usually located in the driver's footwell)
3. With the ignition still in the ON position (engine NOT started), Insert the flash tool into the OBDII port. You should hear an audible beep and the LED should illuminate.
4. Once the upgrade is complete, the unit will begin to beep constantly confirming the process has been completed successfully.
5. Removed the AutoFlash from the OBDII port and switch the ignition to the OFF position
6. Start the engine and idle your vehicle for a few minutes.
DO NOT TOUCH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL.
The vehicle is in its learning phase and must idle. If the accelerator is pressed, removed the battery terminal for 15 minutes and restart the process from step 1.
7. After 5 minutes at idle you may now drive the vehicle using the full rev range.

The AutoFlash does not have the ability to write the stock program back to the TCU. The dealership would have to perform an update.
Then the AutoFlash can be re-installed after dealer work the same method.
