Hello everyone! New here although I've been creeping for a while. I was wondering what the different versions of the SILA exhaust have looked like and if anyone had any issues with any on them. I bought a supposed version 3 from Smart madness but instead of the oval tip it came with a dual tip. Which I thought was the second version. I called and he assured me it's the right one. The issue I have (besides not getting the part I wanted) is the mounting orientation. I believe the welding may be at the wrong angle or something because it's not flush with the body or more importantly square. And at low rpm's it knocks against the bar that the lower part sits behind. Anyone else have this issue? I'm still emailing back and forth to Smart madness who have been nothing but pleasant so far so I'm not knocking the company at all. Just trying to get more information. Thanks in advance guys. Once I become more apt on repairs to it I'll help out more people with posting. Thanks again

I would send these photos to Madness. Looks like the exhaust may be bent. Also, the heat shield is sometimes removed on aftermarket exhaust installations to allow clearance. In the 2nd photo, it looks like the exhaust is off at an angle.

i sent in the photos to them yesterday and havent heard anything back yet. good to know about the heat shield. i was worried about the heat being transferred to the bushings. i wish the exhaust was only hitting the heat shield. sometimes it does and makes a pop can rattle sound then when i pull out its a more distinct metal to metal sound. solid metal to solid metal. thank you very much for the replies.
