Does anyone know why front side marker blinker lights and hazzards wouldnt work?
Its not the bulb. Its NOT the fuse.
Has anyone had this issue?
Its the drivers side.
Husband wants to save money by working on it himself.
Do u think in wiring?
Where is the flasher relay located?

If you’re getting the rapid flashing signal like a bulb is burnt out, mine was doing the same thing. I spent forever tracing the wiring, changing bulbs, etc. I finally ran across a tip someone posted (I don’t remember which user or site, or I’d credit him!). The flasher relay is right above the driver’s left foot on the back of the SAM unit. From the floorboard looking up, the relay is the first one on the left. If you turn the turn signal on you can feel it clicking. Unplug it, then plug it back in. 30 seconds to fix, probably two hours wasted trying to figure it out.

If unplugging it and plugging it back in doesn’t fix it, swap it with the relay next to it. If they work then, you know it’s a bad relay.

The SAM is the fuse box. The relay points down on the back side closest to the left foot.

Okay he touched it & it worked a second. Then he took it out. when he put it back it worked a minute. He couldnt swap it with one beside of it. It was alot bigger.
This is a 2008 smart car.
If u can email me please do.
But thank u so far! This has helped & we are on the right track. Maybe try to get another relay switch for flasher blinker.i can send a pic of what he took out.

It is bigger, but it is the same part number as the one next to it in mine. I swapped them without issue.

Do we just call auto parts and say relay switch and give them the numbers? on it.
