Hi I have got a smart fortwo I changed the spark plugs and leads and the fuel filter it ran ok for a day and now it won't start .I checked the Fuses and the relays and know joy of starting it's a 600cc petrol I am not a mechanic

Check for spark and then check for fuel pressure. Does it crank?

You need 3 things for an engine to run. Spark, fuel, compression. Check for spark first. If that checks out then you'll need a fuel pressure gauge to connect to the fuel rail

You have spark in all cylinders?

Do you have any codes, engine or other subsystems? OBDII scanners can pull engine codes and are cheap, for more advanced you'll need a more advanced scanner, but knowing engine codes, if any, would help you greatly.
