I would like to let reservation holders know that you will be contacted by smart 1 (reservation management) after the store is completed. After that initial contact, one of our specialists from the store will be contacting you to set an appointment for a test drive and introduction to the staff in order of reservation date. Because of the volume of reservation holders, this process may take up to 2 months (so please be patient). If you have already driven at a road show, we ask that you allow us to test drive all of the reservation holders that have not driven the car yet so they feel as confident with their decision to purchase a smart car as the rest of us. You are however always welcome to drop by the center to visit with the understanding that you will only be allowed to drive the car if you have made an appointment.
The most important message I have for you is that I am as excited to get cars as you are and know it is hard to be patient. However, the process that has been established for confirmation and delivery is design for maximum customer service for all reservation holders.
