Yeah, finally someone sees our excitement with the car. Quite funny to see what he finds cool, or just plain weird, like the shifter and hand brake sizes, or the cubby holes and cupholders. The youtube comments bring out the haters, but so what, scorn away, I still love the car and quite pleased with the purchase.

Instead of asking "Is This All-Electric Smart ForTwo Really WORTH $80,000 LESS Than A Tesla Model X?", it seems to me that the question should be "Is This Tesla Model X Really WORTH $80,000 (ten times more) MORE Than This All-Electric Smart ForTwo?"

A really great video. TFL did a number of sympathetic videos on Smart EDs when they first came out, but it's the used pricing that makes this such a steal. Fiat 500e is a similar sleeper bargain.

I plan on having a used 2015 Model S by March of 2021, and will be keeping my 2016 Smart ED. I have a 60 mile round-trip commute to work, and it'll be nice to have 2 electric vehicles to keep the mileage down on both cars. My "other" car is a 2013 Infiniti M37X, and I now feel guilty driving a vehicle that uses gas.

Tesla MS since dec 2012 but my 2016 ED is the fun car of choice as long as I'm staying in the county. 2016 has removed a lot of features shown in video, to no detriment it would seem. E.g. mine has no badges save the large ED logo. Most excellent video.
