I had my first issue a few days ago. Had it nine months now. It stalled after that the D light flashed, and I saw a wrench check engine light on. Drove, then switch to peddles wouldn't go into 1st, only second and the rest. Stopped shut it off for a while, started it D light fine, wrench gone, only check engine light on. I swear it shifts better now, no bogging or hesitations, smooth shirts like a different car. I wasn't unhappy with it before, but the difference is so noticeably better I like it more now!I checked online on how to shut off the check engine light, and it did shut off. The last three days driving again feels like a different car for the better.

Sounds like the transmission's adaptive learning reset itself. I've heard that this can happen if the TCU detects that something isn't right.

This is also something that you can do yourself, if you feel the car isn't shifting quite right. Just follow the procedure found here.
