...PICTURES START ON PAGE 6, POST 53...

Hello everyone. I found this forum yesterday when I was doing some research for aftermarket smart parts. I'm currently building up a smart car with a hayabusa powerplant. I'll be designing the rear end from scratch with an a-arm suspension, and will be doing an a-arm conversion for the front. I'll also be doing some custom fiberglass work in the interior for the gauges and switches, as well as custom building a flare kit for the front (since I cant seem to find a front flare kit).

This is the first time i've ever seen a smart car in person so I don't know much about them.

So, if anyone knows where to find a front flare kit, or has any advice on stuff to watch out for on these things, feel free to throw it out there...........Yoshi

I was gonna attach some pics of the progress. I have the wide rear flare kit on as well as one of the 17"s sitting in place, but it won't let me upload the pics, it says I may not post attachments at the bottom, am I missing something?

Yeah, I heard about that guys problems a while back. I'm not using someone else's kit, i'll be building my own. Anything in the stock setup I will need to know when I start gutting the old harness? I was told I only need the harness that runs the lights/wipers, windows, etc, not the motor harness....
This may help you with some of your questions.

To post, you first have to get the photo "on the web," as the SCOA forum will not host photos. So, upload them to any photo sharing site. Then it should let you add the link by clicking this guy:

Geo... SCOA will infact host files... I have about 30 in my gallery and many other have much more... The key is that you have to resize the photos down to a decent size... It has to be somewhere around 640x480 to upload... most raw digital camera photos are in the 2000 pixel range.

I'll just start a gallery on my website and link the pics from there, but it takes my website designer a few days to get them up, so they will always be posted here a few days after I actually take them. I just e-mailed them over, so they should be up by Tues. I would think...
What's a pain in the butt? Resizing your pics?? geesh

I don't like photo bucket, I can't tell you how many topics I view that have broken links to pics there. My build logs are usually pretty long with lots of pics, so I wanna make sure the pics I put up will stay up. I'll just link them from my website next week, not that big of a deal except for the impatient, lol
whatever... in the time it's taken you to reply you could have resized, uploaded and posted the pics... that now won't be up till Tuesday... just sayin'

...wdhitch...it's a pain...how hard it is to place a box , like the one that says "quote message in reply", in the option box, that will allow an old dumb a$$ like me, to attach pictures that I will love to share with you guys, without having to go to the gallery, name, describe, where to.....and then call back from a post or reply...

Am I being difficult or just not able to grasp the concept of this site format....I think the latter....

I'll go with difficult.... but only because I like you. :D

On the box question... it's a software issue... SCOA can't control it.

Yoshi... If you'll email me your pics I'll add them to my gallery and you can post them tonight. PM me if you like for the address.
