Have a hitch? If not, Curt hitches are available for the 451 smarts and using a light duty trailer you should have no trouble towing your scooter. Maxi scooters can exceed listed towing weight but shouldn’t really be a problem. Many have towed weight more than recommended as long as you drive safely.
I don't believe there is tow rating on the 451. I know lots of people do tow small utility trailers. I have even seen dirt bikes behind smarts. Our resident towing expert is Miss Mercedes. Give her a PM and she will tell you all you need to know. Good luck, George.
