Had the starter checked it's ok, battery is good, all it does is go rrr turn key off try again just goes rrr, like a bad batt. So will a bad crank position sensor cause same thing? Help! Thanx

What the voltage off your battery. It should be around 12.4 volts. Sounds like a dead battery to me. How old is the battery. Jump start, with one of these....

Check the heavy-gauge wire on the starter. They are known to corrode resulting in diminished current handling capabilities. Eventually the cable will completely rust off and the car won’t be able to start.
