Last night I outfitted MiniNeon II with 4 snow tires that I sourced from a smaller scale RC that's long dead. The tires are real rubber and the traction difference is night and day. Ride height has also been increased by about 2mm.

It'll shoot off the line and easily traverse snow, ice, and dirt. :D

Cornering is better as well to a certain point. One of the front snow tires snapped (it had a tiny cut that I thought wouldn't be a problem) so I had to take the other off. So now it does get massive understeer if I try to turn as soon as I floor it.

Right now MiniNeon II sits in my bathroom, letting all the ice melt off. It looks like what a real smart would look like after playing in the snow!

Pics & video later :)

Go up to Home depot, get some silicon sealer. Water poof the bottom. Add some paddles to the rear wheels, and you can play with it in the bathtub. Battleship wars, with the yellow rubber ducks.
