Car is sold. :) Though it was fun for a short time never been so happy to get rid of a car. Selling my 2016 Smart Fortwo Electric Drive car. It only has 5200 miles on it and is in as close to new condition as you can get. Always under carport plus it is always covered by a California Car Cover Noah cover. It also has Weathertech floor liners as pictured in photo. It has never been parked in a parking lot so their are no door dings or scratches of any kind. I take meticulous care of everything I own. It has panoramic see through roof, power windows, ac, am/fm radio and heated seats. I am selling as I am moving back to my home state of South Dakota and don't want to ship it. You won't be disappointed in this beautiful car. Car is located in Donna, Texas. Asking $6400.00

Beautiful car!! Are you the original owner? Is the car still under warranty?

I am the second owner I bought it from my friend that pretty much never used it. I don’t know if because I’m the second owner there is a warranty on it or not. Timewise it is still under warranty but I just don’t know how that works.

Warranty is for four years from in service date or 50,000 miles. Number of owners is irrelevant. When was it put into service? If you PM me the VIN, I can probably find that out. Might help to sell it if the new owner knows the car is still under factory warranty as long as he/she isn't 2000 miles from a dealer that still services Smarts. :(

My biggest problem selling this car is I am in southern Texas where electric vehicles are not popular.
For the most part I don't think any of us are impulse buyers. I searched out mine and brought it into Arkansas. I expect Arkansas & the Texas public are about the same in admiration for that tree huggin hippie telling us we are sinners for driving a pickup truck. It's just a cool little car with no political statement intended. Anyway, put it out there craigslist, maybe, someone will spot it and rescue it!

Sold my Smart for 6800 to someone local. Electric cars are not big in Texas, at least now in the southern part so happy it's gone. It was fun but just a toy for me and now on to some other toy.

I had it listed locally for $7000.00 figuring I would have to drop it some. Sold it on Craigslist. Kind of crazy. I had it listed for 6600.00 with no action. Add expired and relisted it for 7k and sold it for $6800.00. I guess it's was just a matter of someone looking for one at the right time.
