On a whim, I purchased some splash guards off ebay. They've arrived and come with a bag of fasteners but no instructions. Just holding the guards in place, they seem to fit well.

I've separated out all of the fasteners but can't figure out exactly what is to go where. There are some metal clasps which you put a screw through, and there are other places where it looks like a self threading screw is all that is to be used.

Can someone tell me what is supposed to go where?

Thanks.

Photos would help, and did you ping the seller to see if they have instructions....? :)

Dang, I've been too lazy since the photobucket debacle to find another hosting service.

These were shipped from China and I'll ask, but I don't have a lot of hope. The fit seems pretty good though. They snug up tight to where they should be.

The front splash guards are pretty short - they stick down probably less than two inches below the rocker panel. The rear ones are pretty big and have a smart car silhouette embossed into the back of the flap.

In the end, I'm just concerned that they provided some extra secure clips and that might go in an area where there's more force on the flap than normal.

Thanks. Those links are pretty helpful in an indirect way. I'll take a closer look one of these next few nights. Though it doesn't look like we're getting any rain here soon. We've had the longest streak of dry weather in recorded weather history of something like 56 days, interrupted by one day of rain, and now we're into almost another two weeks without rain again.
