In case anyone has issues with front side marker emergency flasher lights & blinker ...you need a 4 pin part # A002542 13 19 MADE BY TYCO (Mercedes ) 12 volt.
its located near gas and brake pedal in floor .You pull it out and replace. Its called a SPRINTER RELAY.
V23134 b52 X 336 AND we saw some overseas on ebay & sure mercedes benz can get them. But its easy to put in & out. Our flasher started going real fast & stopped working. AND if u ever need to replace a bulb u have to take the entire front off of car to get to bulbs.lol

Relay (sprinter) for 2008 smart passion fortwo

If u ever need the little square part that is near foot pedals gas etc in floor above...lol it controls the side marker blinkers (it has 4 prongs! or they call them pins)
and emergency flashers.
There are 2 of them.Sometimes unplugging for 30 seconds fixes fast flasher no flasher issue but if not the part is on Ebay or we had to get at Mercedes Benz .They keep it stock in Winston salem Nc $26.78 plus tax,
Much cheaper than taking to a dealer to fix.
