Now that I find out that I don't have power steering I have heard it said from people that put bigger tires on that they think it actually steers/turns easier? I wonder why that is when you have a bigger foot print and more resistance from the "donut". You would think that would increase the steering effort considerably.

Sorry I didn’t see this thread earlier. Larger wheels and tires make the smart easier to handle on the freeway at high speeds. It is more stable in gusty winds, etc. You will pay for this with stiff steering at parking lot speeds. No magic physics....
