Not sure of any of that as I can not get the Toyota dealer where I bought this car to do anything as they have no clue about this car...There is only one place in Cleveland that will try to deal with a Smart Car and I would have to force Toyota to do something...I think they are idiots. That other place is a Mercedes dealership.
Is 175 miles on 5 gallons of gas good or bad?

Borderline acceptable in winter with the winter gas blend and such. In summer you should see 40-42 in normal driving.
Is your car under warranty from the Toyota dealership?

That comes out to 35mpg if my math is right. There are a lot of variables to mileage, but that's within the realm of normal, especially in winter.

Look on the sidewall of your tires.

It should read "Max Pressure XXX"

Mine say 51 PSI max, so I run 37 front, 44 rear...

Getting 40+ MPG,...

Adding 4-5 PSI over the door sticker recommendation will reduce cupping (wear on the tires edge), and provide better mileage...

You don’t go by the max tire pressure on the tire. Never ever. You use the tire pressure, on the sticker, inside the door sill. Front and rear. Recommended from the factory.

I am still paying on the car it's a 2016 and we are paying for a 3 year coverage...I have told them about the gas, I have told them that the car kicks me in the ass at a stop(hard to explain that one) but they have excuses...it is like when you stop the car isn't ready and also when you rev a regular car it revs and then stops, when I rev this smart it does not rev like a normal car. I told that to them and they said something about electronic throttle or some jibberish. I think they see a woman coming and just think I know nothing. I can repair and work on any car without computer **** so yes this one is off my grid.
95% of my driving is within 5 miles of where I live and is all city...so gas mileage probably would be low. My tire pressure it set to what is on the door panel.

Not sure about your brake issue but regarding the reving the engine, on smart it's controlled by the ECU. So I'm neutral or park, wife open throttle, it will only rev to 3500

Maybe see if I can explain that better...when you rev any other car it revs and then when you take your foot off the pedal it stops revving immediately ...when I step on the gas in park it revs and when I take my foot off the pedal it still revs and slowly idles down. Do all smart cars do that?

No absolutely not.. Heave you tried a throttle body reset yet?

And what is that?
See other threads on how to do it, use the search community box above. It's a reset procedure that has worked for me, when I had my 08 451. It's also common to many cars, not just smarts, do a google search too. Some insist it's fake and doesn't work, but I had good results, so I am a believer in the procedure, and it doesn't hurt to try it.

Thank you and I did look it up and am going to try it later today...my car had work done on it the end of last year at Mercedes because engine light stayed on and Toyota had no clue....I have yet to know what was fixed because no one will give me a read out...you would think that Mercedes would have noticed the slightly rough idle. Guess some do not care or even like the Smart Car.

Very true.
However, I will add that the door sticker assumes factory tires. Once you start playing around with your tire sizes the door sticker can become sort of ineffective. When I first upgraded to 185/65/15 on all corners the tire shop aired them to the sticker and I didn't like it. The car had some major exaggerated body roll, but it was just the tall tires flexing. Went above the door sticker and never had a problem since.

I did throttle body reset earlier today and yes it did make a large difference, it no longer smacks me in the ass like it did before when I stop...there is a slight movement and that is it.....and it seems to idle smoother. Thank you for your help.
