Swapping frame/body

Hi I have an 2016 electric smart which requires a new body (it was damaged in an accident). I want swap the body with another body. Do i need a body from another ED vehicle or can I use another 2016 fortwo body?

2016 ED was a C451 body. 2016 gasser uses a C453 body. So you’d need a 2015 or older, to 2008, gas car body... (I think).
