my tail gate storage door will not latch. I checked the latches manually and they both larch and release when the lever is pulled. Is there any way to adjust them, I tried and got nowhere.

You may be able to adjust these three Torx screws and make a difference but that's just a guess.

If it's the tailgate latches themselves, the locking eyes can be adjusted.

2 Rear fender
3 Nut
4 Bolts
5 Locking eye
