Each click on the temperature setting changes the temperature request by about 2 degrees. How hot it feels depends on how hot the coolant is and the interior temperature of the car. If the temperature setting is at 75 degrees you will not get the same heat from the vents if the interior is at 70 degrees as you would if it was at 40 degrees.
