I have the iCarsoft MB v2.0 (not to be confused with the MB II) and have been pretty pleased with it. I bought the iCarsoft MB V2.0 because at the time the car was an experiment and of unknown future utility so I wanted to get results with as small of an outlay of cash as I could. I had tried a number of simpler OBDII scanners, but the support for CANbus wasn't good enough and another person I knew had the iCarsoft and liked it, so I went with what I knew would work.Better than iCarsoft's i980 scanner ?
I suspect a number of other scanners in the same general price range would be as good. My only regret is not doing what I initially considered and doubling down to get a better (and more expensive) bi-directional scanner that would work as well on other cars.
