We have a drive-in a few miles from my house. It was one of the last in America not to have a digital projector.

My setup is simple:

1. Reverse to pole, so that tailgate points toward the screen.

2. Pop open tailgate.

3. Set my microfridge on the tailgate.

4. Pitch a camping chair.

Alternatively, if it's colder outside:

1. Pull up to the wrong side of the pole.

2. Pull the passenger seat all the way back

3. Enjoy the movie from the comfort of the passenger seat.

That's a Henry Ford picture...

He always said you could have one of his cars in any color you wanted, as long as it was black...>:D
You know the funny thing about that? For the first few years of production, black wasn't even an available colour! Instead only grey, green, blue, and red. :D

Apparently, black was cheaper and more durable, so starting in 1912 (and made official in 1914), all Ts were painted black! >:D

I owned a '61 dodge lancer station wagon in high school, during drive in dates I'd back in,drop the rear seat and tailgate and we'd lay down to watch the movie, I must have done something right because my date and I have been married for 43years now
